The crash happened at All Eye Care Doctors at 85 Middlesex Turnpike, near Burlington Mall, shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12, authorities said.
Burlington Police and Fire arrived to find a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander that had driven into the store before crashing into the rear of the furniture store Relax the Back.
"It was this really loud noise," Dr. Dzenana Idrizovic, the store owner, told NBC Boston. "It almost sounded like an earthquake."
Surveillance footage from the eye care center shows the car crashing into the store before a store worker helps out the driver and passenger, who appear shaken.
The building inspector was also at the scene, according to authorities.
There were no injuries, but both stores are currently closed for repairs.
The woman was driving with a permit, and the crash was an accident, police determined.
No charges have been filed at this time.
